This class uses a parallel approach to present important concepts of both Linux and Windows Server 2003. Special emphasis is placed on the use of these operating systems by network and system administrators. Coverage will include the use of both command line and graphical interfaces, active directory administration and integration, file systems, file and print sharing, security, web services, email services, and backup and recovery procedures. This class is designed to implement a complete networking solution for a typical office. |
Network Troubleshooting/Integration |
This course builds on the network administration concepts learned in Network Administration 1 thru 3 and Network Communications 1 & 2. In a simulated local area network and then in turn a wide area network, students integrate Windows Server 2003 and Linux. In the process students become proficient in network integration and troubleshooting methodologies. |
